A Very Bunny Existence

Life with a husband and 3 bunnies.

Home of the Bunnies

I admit it.  Our rabbits are spoiled.

It didn’t start out that way.  Nibbles began his life here with us in a modest pet-store sized cage with a bit of run around space outside.  See?

But rabbit habitats (or rabbitats, if you will) have a way of…growing.

Before long, Nibbles had expanded into a true bunny palace:

Keep in mind, this is before the Junie-era.  After Junie had come along and outgrown the pet store cage/run around space, we built an addition for her and moved things around a bit:

Her area is the 3×3 grid space in the foreground, plus the third story level that she’s sitting in in the picture.  Another angle:

So, in other words, Nibbles’ area is the large, green-sheeted area in the back.  Junie has access to the striped- and blue-sheeted areas.  They love their mansions.  When new bunny comes to join Junie, he’ll join her in her space.  I’m glad we’re able to give them so much space.  They really do love it!
